Our biometric devices and software solutions are used by governments and security agencies around the world. They help prevent corruption, detect forged documents, identify perpetrators, and reinforce the security of identification procedures.

You’re bound to be familiar with one of our devices. If you’ve ever applied for a passport, you’ve probably had your finger on one of our fingerprint scanners.

Your fingerprint is scanned to give you the highest level of protection from forgery. Depending on the country you’re entering, the scan ensures safe and controlled entry. For instance, through the border control systems in the Maldives or Thailand. Above all, it protects you from identity fraud.

The saved biometric features have proven to their value when it comes to identity verification. From August 2021, our fingerprint scanners will therefore also be used to create the German identity card (“Personalausweis”).
